Projects & Guidelines
1. A student created web page for the course.
2. Film analysis: Students will analyze their thoughts and feelings generated by the pop culture we experience.
3. Cultural Journals: Students will maintain a handwritten record of their own analysis of the pop culture.
4. Movie Nights: Students will research and present one film to the community.
5. Exhibit/Video: Students will research a theme & present an Exhibit/Video at the conclusion of the theme.
6. Pop Madness: We will have a bracket of 64 major pop culture icons, people, places, and events. We will research and debate these until we have narrowed it down to the most important figure or icon in pop culture.
7. We will end the semester with a themed social event (partay!) using that icon as the theme.
